24 Innsbrooks numerous nature trails continue to soar in popularity. After releasing updated maps and a pocket guide in 2015 many owners and their families were ready to hit the trail for the first time Out of all of our unique and diverse trails the newest is the Tyrolean which opened for exploration in 2012. The trail is part of one of Innsbrooks newest recreational areas to explorethe Alpine and Tyrolean Valleys south of the Alpine Lake dam. With the Innsbrook Historical Societys dedicated work on the rehabilitation of the historic Log Cabin and surrounding buildings the Log Cabin area in Alpine Valley is a must-see for Innsbrook families and their guests. The Tyrolean trailhead is nearby taking walkers on a path that winds along Charrette Creek and past flowing waterfalls. Innsbrook is currently developing an extension to the Tyrolean Trail that will be ready to traverse later this year. The extension will begin south of the historic Log Cabin traveling through Innsbrooks southern expansion areas past a seasonal waterfall along tree lines and through fields. The winding path will also take travelers across a spillway to Innsbrooks newest lakeTyroland along the bluffs overlooking Charrette Creek before heading towards Charrette Creek Commons.
