3 welcome to our 45th season Anybody Home by Bob Wombacher Reflections On Grendel by Michelle Sprick Innsbrook is celebrating the 45th Anniversary of its founding this year. In many ways it has changed and yet we have tried to keep it the same with our mutual appreciation of nature the outdoors and the beauty of our woods lakes and countryside. This is a big year with the opening of our uncommon Charrette Creek Commons which includes features that many of you have been asking for. This is possible now that we have the critical mass of property owners needed to make this financially feasible. We hope you your families and your guests enjoy this new facility it has been a long time coming and we believe it will have a very positive impact on property values. In July 1971 when Warren Wobbe Sr. and I started this place many of our current property owners were not in school yet and many more were yet to even be born. Now we have some 4th generation owners multiple generation owners and many families owning multiple residences and chalets whose friends also are now owners....and their friends friends who are now owners. When we discuss our history here and the tens of thousands of people who have come through our gates over the years and all of the happiness that they have experienced here it is more than a little overwhelming. In 1971 this reality would have been a fantasy....if we even at that time had known how Innsbrook would evolve like it has....and verbalized it....most people would have headed out the gate thinking These guys are nuts CHAIRMANS COLUMN Well it wouldnt have happened if you had not taken a leap of faith and put down hard cash to purchase property here. Thank you for your help in making our Innsbrook community successful Enjoy the season Ed Boyce
