2012 Lakes & Links Tournaments

The 2012 Lakes & Links season will begin in March 2012 and will culminate with the Tour Championship in November 2012. Everyone is invited to join this tournament series -- your points will accumulate as you play! Questions? Call (636)928-3366 ext. 206 or email golf@innsbrook-resort.com.

Event Information and Regulations

For all events with or without dinner, the green fees/cart fees are $25/person, and the entry fee that funds the prize pool is $25/person (total $50/person). Those purchasing any of Innsbrook's "Frequent Player Memberships" covering green fees and/or carts fees are entitled to a discounted participation in the Lakes & Links events, based on which type of membership they have purchased:

•Green Fee and Trail Fee membership, pay only the $25 entry fee that funds the prize pool.

•7-Day Guest/Corporate membership, use one round of golf and pay the $25 entry fee that funds the prize pool.

•7-Day Cart Plus membership, $10 cart fee plus the $25 entry fee that funds the prize pool.

•7-Day 40th Anniversary membership, $20 cart fee plus the $25 entry fee that funds the prize pool.

•Players Club 22 membership, $20 cart fee plus the $25 entry fee that funds the prize pool.

All entry fees are awarded back to participants in the form of gift certificates that may be redeemed for pro shop goods or, with minimal restrictions, green fees/cart fees.

In 2011, each event is a flighted 2-person scramble event, with flight prizes, closest-to-the-pin prizes, and attendance prizes.

Scores are flighted so that players of all ability levels have an opportunity to win flight prizes.
Each event includes an optional skins game; there is an additional fee of $10 per team to participate in the skins game.

To attract participation in Lakes & Links events and to promote competition, this is the system for awarding points for the 2011 Lakes & Links season. Depending on what place your team wins in any specific event, you will be awarded points as follows:

1st place in any flight — 4 points 2nd place in any flight — 3 points
3rd place in any flight — 2 points 4th place in any flight — 1 point

Any team that calls/emails in to participate in an event that is subsequently cancelled due to lack of the minimum number of teams participating will be contacted in advance and given the option to still come out and play on the scheduled date of the event for a green fee/cart fee of $25 per person. Any player exercising this option will receive 1 point toward the season-long points contest.

Each week we publish an “e-newsletter” that announces upcoming tournaments and other events, and updates the rankings in the season-long points contest. To subscribe, email golf@innsbrook-resort.com

After the last points tournament prior to the Tour Championship, the season-long points will be totaled, and all participants will be contacted individually or through your “team captain” to let you know what your final ranking is and which fee you are entitled to for the Tour Championship, based on the list below:

Ties in the season-long points contest for places 1-100 will be settled thru “scorecard playoff” rewarding those who played/scored points in events closest to but prior to the Tour Championship. All players tied for 100th place will be invited to play for $55.
