Innsbrook Resort and Innsbrook Motor Club hosted a Car & Truck show at Charrette Creek Commons amenity complex on Saturday, September 29, with proceeds benefiting God Cares Ministry, a non-profit organization that serves Warren, Lincoln, Montgomery, St. Charles and St. Louis counties’ veterans find employment and The Child Center, Inc., in Wentzville which advocates for victims of child abuse.
Nile and Terry Ramsbottom, founders and board members of God Cares, were excited to have more ways to help veterans, including support with job opportunities and family needs. In fulfilling this objective, God Cares volunteers often use donations to help veterans and his or her family with rent, utilities, food, car repairs and other needs so veterans can focus on attaining employment.
“We are appreciative of the support Innsbrook and the Motor Club gave us,” said Terry Ramsbottom.
“The funds will be used for those who served our country who gave everything in service,” said Nile Ramsbottom. “These veterans now need our help. We often find mentors for the veterans to help provide their sustained path.”
Innsbrook’s scenic 7,500 acres are located just 45 minutes west of St. Louis and include recreational and residential properties, meeting facilities, a restaurant, 18-hole public golf course and more than 100 lakes. Families, couples and individuals from all over the country come to Innsbrook for homes, corporate outings, weddings, family activities, recreational opportunities, vacations and more.
