The Innsbrook Owners’ Association and Innsbrook Motor Club hosted a Car & Truck show at its Charrette Creek Commons amenity complex on Saturday, September 30, with the proceeds being donated to God Cares Ministry, a non-profit organization that helps Warren County veterans find employment. The donations totaled more than $1,200.
“We are so thankful and appreciative for the support Innsbrook and the Motor Club gave us, said Nile Ramsbottom of the God Cares Board. “We will use the money to improve our veteran's lives. We also work with veterans assisting them in establishing goals for their lives so that our efforts have a further purpose in helping them. We want to assist them on a sustained path toward achieving their goals.”
In fulfilling this objective, God Cares volunteers often use donations such as these to help the veteran and his or her family with rent, utilities, food, car repairs and other needs so they can focus on attaining employment.
Ramsbottom encourages anyone who knows a veteran in need to contact God Cares at www.God-cares-ministry.org. The organization receives no government or corporate grants and is fully funded by private donations.
