Join the Historical Society at the Log Cabin for music from Muriel Anderson, one of the world’s foremost finger-style guitarists and harp-guitarists.
The Innsbrook Historical Society is pleased to sponsor world-renowned guitarist Muriel Anderson in the second "A Little Porch Music Concert" at the historic log cabin. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held at the Innsbrook Conference Center.
As one of the world's foremost finger-style guitarists and harp-guitarists, Muriel Anderson is the first woman to have won the National Finger-style Guitar Championship. An engaging performer, audiences worldwide recognize her joy of music, humor, and facility across musical genres.
Ms. Anderson has recorded with country legend Chet Atkins, performed in New York with Les Paul, at Chicago's Orchestra Hall with the Chicago Symphony, and in Tennessee with the Nashville Chamber Orchestra.
Muriel is host and founder of Muriel Anderson's All Star Guitar Night®, the premier music event at the semi-annual NAMM music trade show, and is also the founder of the Music for Life Alliance charity. A prolific composer of music on guitar and harp guitar, Ms. Anderson tours year-round in North America, Europe and the Far East.
