Innsbrook broke ground on November 22 on the site of its new amenity complex, scheduled for completion in 2015. The vacation home community is located 45 minutes west of St. Louis and includes chalets, condominiums, year-round residential properties, cottages and more than 100 lakes. The amenities are used by weekend and year-round residents as well as vacationers.
The project will consist of construction of a zero-entry pool with swim lanes and a lazy river, fitness center, playground, outdoor amphitheater, sports fields, tennis courts and plenty of parking for Innsbrook’s weekly summer concerts and other events. The complex will be built on a recently-acquired parcel of land near the intersection of Highway F and Stracks Church Road in Innsbrook.
There will also be a recreational building on the site with common laundry facilities, a community room and a concession stand. All of this is in a meadow-like setting surrounded by Innsbrook’s natural woods.
“These are quality of life amenities that are being designed to improve the Innsbrook family experience for the next generation,” said Innsbrook CEO Charlie Boyce. “Because of the recent purchase of the new site location, we can now build upon our past experiences to create facilities that are safer, more accessible, more efficient, more convenient and more fun for all ages. It’s exciting to think how this will impact our Innsbrook families for generations to come.”
Innsbrook plans to open the facilities in the summer of 2015.
The construction of this new amenity core comes after Innsbrook debuted the extensive remodel of its lodge-like Aspen Center on the shores of 150-acre Lake Aspen earlier this year.
“The modernization of the amenities is needed to keep up with the expectations of our community’s home and chalet owners,” said Boyce.
