INNSBROOK, MO (June 15, 2021) – Get ready for a light and sound explosion, as Sky Wars is set to light up the sky at Innsbrook Resort’s Fireworks Field to celebrate the 16th annual fireworks championship on September 25, 2021. Gates open at 2 p.m., and the fireworks show begins at 7:30 p.m. Innsbrook Fireworks field is located 45 minutes west of St. Louis, offering a spacious outdoor venue for the largest fireworks displays in the nation for the second consecutive year.
Sky Wars, from the creators of the original Pyromania and presented by the Missouri Pyrotechnics Association, is the nation's largest fireworks competition and one of the only pyrotechnic competitions in the United States. Pyrotechnicians, who are among the nation’s top fireworks choreographers, are invited to create breathtaking pyromusicals for an audience of all ages. Sky Wars will feature more than two-hours of fiery fun, including The Fireball Dudes, who hold a world record for their signature gasoline fireballs.
This event contains fun and entertainment for the whole family, with the children’s festival area opening at 2 p.m. and live music by a local favorite, Foreplay, playing from 3- 7 p.m. Before and during the show, attendees can purchase a tasty treat or an ice cold beverage from a variety of food trucks and other local vendors.
Join the VIP area for the best seats in the house. VIP tickets include food and beverage services from 4:30- 9:30 p.m., a served dinner at 6 p.m., and unlimited beer and wine. A cash bar will be offered for mixed drinks and other non-alcoholic beverages. A special group sales rate is available for those with a large group of twenty-five people or more.
Attendees can donate to Sky Wars’ non-profit partner for 2021, Wags & Whiskers, for their “Raise the Woof” campaign to build a no-kill animal shelter in Warren County. Sky Wars will also be collecting donations and canned, non-perishable food items to help stock area food pantries with AGAPE (Warrenton Food Pantry) and Operation Food Search.
