Wild West Horse Camp & Campers "Rodeo Showdown" Performance!

Tuesday, June 13 - Friday, June 16 | 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. | Ages 8-15 (all levels of experience welcome)
It’s time for some summer fun down on the farm! Save the date for Dun Right Stable’s Wild West Horse Camp where children ages 8-15 years old will learn about different horsemanship skills involved in the sport of Rodeo. From barrel racing and pole bending, to carrying the USA flag for the Grand Entry, and learning how to perform set patterns and maneuvers on their horses and more! Plus, campers will try their hand at roping and vaulting (similar to trick riding), and learn how to properly groom and care for horses and farm animals.
On the final day of camp, family and close friends are invited to come and watch the students perform the skills it takes to be part of a Rodeo during the “Rodeo Showdown” performance beginning at 10:30 a.m. Campers may leave early with family after the Friday performance.
Daily Schedule includes:
- Horsemanship Lesson
- Craft/Activity
- Farm Chore
- Snack Time/Break (1 snack and bottled water provided. Campers are encouraged to bring lunch and a drink as well)
Weeklong camp is open to ages 8-15 years old. No experience required. All levels of riders welcome. Camp is co-ed.
$450 per camper. $100 deposit is due by March 31, balance due in full by May 31. If not paid by the deadline, your spot will be forfeited. NO refunds.
Registration is required. Applicants will be accepted via email beginning Monday, March 20 at 9 a.m. Applicants can fill out the registration form HERE, or email Ride@dunrightstables.com to get a camp application. We will reserve spots and send confirmations as well as payment information in the order they were received. We will let you know if you are on the waitlist.

*Our limited camp horses will be shared amongst the campers. Camp will continue regardless of weather. If the heat index becomes too hot to ride horses, unmounted activities will be done that day, this includes Friday’s performance.
Please note - Dun Right Programs are run privately, separate from the Innsbrook Corporation, and are not part of the Innsbrook online Camp Registration. All information for Dun Right services will be posted here as its available. Thank you for your interest!

Kids Night at the Stables
Friday, June 9 | 7-9:30 p.m. | Ages 8-15
Enjoy a summer night down on the farm! Kids will enjoy making new friends around the Campfire at the stables while they interact with the farm animals that live here, including some of our horses. There will be unmounted activities with the animals, games to play, smores, snacks and more! There is no riding at this event
$50 per child. RSVP and payment due by June 1. Email ride@dunrightstables.com to RSVP.
Drop off opens at 6:45 p.m., pick up by 9:30 p.m.
Full Care Boarding
Innsbrook Stables, managed by Dun Right Stables since June 2020, offers excellent care for both horse and rider. Our facility features a 75' x 150' indoor arena, 125' x 250' outdoor arena, 60’ round pen, arena trail obstacles, and trail head access directly from the barn. Our turn-out accommodations include 30 acres of lush, well-maintained pastures for summer grazing, and all-weather dry lots for off season turn-out.
Dun Right also offers Horsemanship Programs and Horse Training Services. Dun Right is owned and operated by our head trainer, and facility manager, Kat Metzger. Our management team lives on property and are very knowledgeable with over 27 active years in the horse industry.
Throughout the year, Dun Right hosts several events for you and your horse to have the opportunity to join! From clinics and fun shows, to group rides, arena play days, and campfire nights.
Full Care Boarding Includes:

- Stalls and Paddocks Maintained Regurlarly

Dun Right Stables is a private run stables, please respect the signs when visiting around the barns and outside the fence. The horses at the stables are privately owned. General public is encouraged to go by the Red Barn and visit with our goats and donkey outside anytime, but please do not feed them or any animal on the property.
*Guests are not allowed inside the stables gates or in any of the barns without a pre-booked appointment with Dun Right Management. Staff and their family live full time on the property, please respect their privacy.
Horsemanship Programs
Semester Based Programs
It is our mission with Dun Right Horsemanship to help each student learn to understand the horse and human relationship, communication, and the lifelong lessons that you will treasure along with it. Students in our Horsemanship Programs will expand their knowledge in western riding, english, speed events, trail obstacles (arena), groundwork, showmanship, and more - all preparing you to become a well rounded horseman.
Dun Right Horsemanship is an enrollment-based program.
